How to Keep Score in Squash

Modern squash awards one point on every rally. Games go to 11, and a 10–10 game continues until one player leads by two points.

The basics

How squash scoring works

  1. 01

Award one point to the player who wins each rally.

  2. 02

At 10–10, continue until either player leads by two.

  3. 03

Record the completed game and reset the rally score to zero.

  4. 04

The first player to three games in a best-of-five match, or two in a best-of-three match, wins.
